Kingdom Harvest Gospel Ministry is a Bible-believing, Christ-centred, Spirit-empowered church. The following statements summarise the core doctrinal convictions that undergird everything we teach, preach, and practise.
The Holy Scripture
We believe the Bible - comprising the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments - is the verbally inspired, infallible, and inerrant Word of God. It is the supreme and final authority in all matters of faith, doctrine, and conduct. No tradition, experience, or human reasoning may supersede the authority of Scripture (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21).
The Holy Trinity
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three co-equal, co-eternal Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each Person is fully God, distinct in Person but united in essence, will, and purpose. There is no God but the LORD God of the Bible (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14).
The Person and Work of Jesus Christ
We believe in the virgin birth, sinless life, atoning death, bodily resurrection, and glorious ascension of the Lord Jesus Christ. He is fully God and fully man - the only Mediator between God and humanity. He will return personally and visibly to judge the living and the dead (Isaiah 7:14; John 1:1-14; Romans 5:8; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Acts 1:9-11).
Salvation by Grace Through Faith
We believe that all humanity is lost in sin and stands under the righteous judgement of God. Salvation is available exclusively through repentance from sin and personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. It is entirely by God's grace, received through faith alone - not by works, rituals, or human merit. Salvation brings forgiveness, regeneration, justification, and adoption into the family of God (Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 10:9-10; Titus 3:5).
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is fully God and is the divine agent of regeneration, sanctification, and empowerment for ministry. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit and the continuing operation of all the spiritual gifts described in the New Testament, including speaking in tongues, prophecy, healing, and miracles - as God sovereignly wills - for the building up of the Body of Christ and the advance of the Gospel (Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 12-14; Romans 8:9-16).
The Church
We believe in the universal Church - the Body of Christ - comprising all true believers in every age and nation. We also believe in the importance of the local church as the primary expression of the Body of Christ on earth. The local church exists to worship God, teach the Word, make disciples, administer the sacraments of baptism and the Lord's Supper, and to reach the lost with the Gospel (Matthew 16:18; Ephesians 1:22-23; Acts 2:42-47).
The Resurrection and Eternal Life
We believe in the bodily resurrection of all the dead - the righteous to eternal life in the presence of God, and the unrighteous to eternal judgement and separation from God. We believe that heaven and hell are real, literal places. The hope of the resurrection is the cornerstone of the Christian faith and the source of our indestructible joy (John 5:28-29; 1 Corinthians 15:51-57; Revelation 20:11-15; 21:1-4).
The Second Coming of Christ
We believe in the personal, visible, and imminent return of the Lord Jesus Christ. He will come again to gather His Church, judge the nations, and establish His eternal Kingdom. This blessed hope motivates us to live holy lives, share the Gospel urgently, and pray "Even so, come, Lord Jesus" (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelation 19:11-16; 22:20).
